Step 1: Contact usContact us either by phone 604-266-1921 or by using the convenient Estimate request form located under our website's Contact tab. Step 2: Initial MeetingAfter setting up a convenient meeting time, Joe will meet you at the intended work site to review what you want done. If you are renovating or building a new home, having a set of plans and permits in place is not essential but really helps to speed up the process and ensures a more accurate estimate. Step 3: Detailed EstimateA detailed written estimate is prepared detailing costs to complete work from start to finish. Step 4: Approval and Work CommencementThe estimate is approved by the client and a date is set to commence the work. Step 5: Billing and Progress ReportA detailed invoice outlining labour, sub-trade and material costs is prepared on a regular basis. Marino General Contracting provides receipts for all materials and sub trades, passing on all of our contractor discounts. We pay all suppliers and sub trades before the client is invoiced. A 10% administration fee is added as our contracting fee. This transparent accounting system allows the client to keep track of how and where money is being spent. Lastly, a summary of costs to date and cost projections to complete the project accompany all invoices. Step 6: Work Completion and Clean-UpAll work must be reviewed by the client and approved as complete. We pride ourselves on leaving our projects immaculate and our clients completely satisfied.
